Ah, good old English…

  1. “…that that…”
  2. There’s pa-hurt pr-hurt fu-hurt but pa-ate pr-eat fu-eat…???
  3. A “verb” is a noun.
  4. Vegetarians eat vegetables, and humanitarians eat….
  5. Fat chance = slim chance
  6. A house can burn up, burn down and burn out.
  7. No egg in eggplant, no ham in hamburger.
  8. We’re told to get on the plane, but we get in the plane…?
  9. A fly without wings is a walk…?
  10. If the goal in flying is to get there safely, why is your destination called a “terminal“?
