“Passion is the quickest to develop, and the quickest to fade. Intimacy develops more slowly, and commitment more gradually still.” – Robert Sternberg
(Oh crap he’s onto me.)
This resonates strongly with me because of a particular experience I had last week, which involved talk about starting something similar to what Wong Fu was doing (after their panel, obviously we were affected) and I’m not sure where those plans went…?
– Actually, must make an announcement. I’m going to start contacting advertising groups and small production teams such as Wong Fu (but not them, probably), inquiring about being a remote screenwriter/writer. I actually have a stock of stories that I haven’t shown anybody, but the only problem is I don’t know if they’re any good. If I can make some money off of this, I should, right?
“If you are good at something, don’t go it for free.” – The Joker –
I’m not going to let these seeds go to waste just because of my ignorance.
Not quite sure about the intimacy thing because of obvious reasons…
Commitment. Have I explained that I have a fear of commitments?
Yet it’s been quite a while on this blog, hasn’t it? Since
May 2010… November 2010… Three years and 638 posts later, I’ve finished high school and onto completing my first year of college.
Commitment is terrifying. But maybe the happiness makes it better.
